Description:

SUNDAY – Early morning departure from the Algarve to Lisbon. After crossing the bridge over the Tagus River proceed to Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage Site) a magic and mysterious place, scattering palaces and romantic gardens around the luxurious vegetation. Time to visit the King´s Summer Palace and time for lunch (not included). Stop at Cabo da Roca Europe´s western most point. Return to Lisbon the capital of Portugal since 1256 passing through the beach of Guincho and the villages of Cascais and Estoril, cosmopolitan atlantic beaches and summer residence of King´s and Queen´s. Stop at Belem quartier where are situated several monuments related to the Portuguese Age of Discoveries XVI / 16th centuries. Belem Tower and Hieronymites Monastery are the jewels of Manueline style arquitecture (exaltation of maritime expansion).
Overnight stay at a 4 star Hotel downtown Lisbon. Dinner not included.
MONDAY - After breakfast included in the hotel, walking guided tour of ALFAMA, one of the oldest quartiers of Lisbon. Free time for shopping and lunch (not Included). In the afternoon, return to Belem quartier to taste the portuguese famous Pasteis de Belem (custard cream tarts) with a recipe of secret ingredients. Walk near Belem Tower on the right bank of river Tagus and watch the Monument of Discoveries. Leave the “Queen City of the Seas” towards Algarve.
Monuments entrance fees not included. Earphones in Sintra 1,50€
